Go to your town junkyard and ask if you can look around for some unwanted parts. After gaining a keen eye for certain metal types, these owners will make terms a price with you. Often based on the relationship with the owner and your presentation, they will either sell the part to you or even give it to you. You may also come across junkyard-like car lots that deal in scrap emtal. Once again it depends on your negotiation and presentation, but the king dollar will sometimes allow you to take whatever you can lift or carry in a single trip. Ideally you want to go for the least weighing and most profittable scrap metal.
