Motivating Children With Primary Stickers

The use of teachers stickers and praise postcards for motivating children for augmenting and boosting their performance and manage their manner without the use of punishments or detentions is a very important step in the character building of a student. Presentation and approval on other qualities rather than only academic performance brings the students who are always neglected, to the front. They get the feeling of being an integral and fundamental part of the class and thus they strive and struggle to be at their best. If you are a teacher, and you see that your students are learning as well as excelling with motivation and a hunger to do more, there is nothing else that you should need.
Healthy contest environment always promotes betterment in the class. The general purpose of education is not just lesson. The secondary objective of education is to encourage and promote competition among students. In this way, a prevailing environment of contest ensures fast growth of young brains. Encouragement can be granted in many diverse ways including verbal approval, school certificates etc. Use of primary stickers is also a trending way to encourage and buck-up the deserving students.
Usually, students are expected to be equally capable and profound in all subjects including arts, mathematics, general science, English literature etc. This approach is utterly wrong, as a single student cannot be completely accomplished in every single subject. There are some students who are exceptionally well in mathematics but they lag behind in arts or vice versa. It should not mean that one student is better than the other if he is better in one subject. In other words, individuality is not cherished in schools the way it should be. This approach should be stopped immediately. Many young children and minds are corrupted and ruined because of the practice of crushing individuality in a character. This individuality is the factor that differentiates humans from animals. Individuality in a student’s personality should be the subject of appreciation and admiration, and not condemnation and disapproval. If students are appreciated for their simple good deeds and behaviour they would think of themselves as an important and integral part of their schooling system.
Then what should be the approach utilised by teachers. The approach should be made around the technique of exploiting their weakness of young mind: hunger and greed for admiration. But mostly, only few students are the focus of teachers’ appreciative comments and remarks. The reason behind is the fact that teachers are mostly focused on some factors of a student’s personality while completely neglecting the others. This is the main reason why some students enjoy publicity while others stay in the shadows. The teachers’ stickers are the best way to appreciate and commend the different variety of talent and attributes that every different student possesses. Two students from completely different backgrounds will never be the same. One might be an exceptional mathematician while the other can be a born artist. It does not mean in anyway that the former is better than the latter. Every student has the right to be appreciated for his good qualities, and exceptionality in every student should be cherished evenly.
Other ways to appreciate students can also include certificates of achievements. These certificates can be awarded at the end of the academic sessions upon achievements like: “The Cleanest student of the Class” or “The most Punctual Student of the Class”. These certificates are helpful to recognise the achievements that can be assessed by the teacher after the passing of the complete academic session. In this way, if a student is unable to secure a top position in studies or sports, he still gets appreciated for something at which he was exceptional throughout the year. This helps to smother the feeling of being left out from the students’ hearts and thus everyone participates and gets rewarded equally in the class.
Primary stickers, teachers stickers and praise postcards are important ways to motivate young minds and bring warmth in young hearts. When a child is appreciated for his every individual act, he tries his best to focus and enhances all the aspects of his personality and not just the academic one. This approach not only generates a great scholar of the future but also a great gentleman.
