Franz Anton Hoffmeister
On 1 December 1800 the conductor and composer Franz Anton Hoffmeister (1754-1812)entered into partnership with the bookseller and organist Ambrosius K?hnel (1770-1813) for the purpose of setting up a 'Bureau de Musique' in Leipzig.
