When he begins to regret the breakup, your ex will be the one wanting to communicate. He will start by sending an email and just ask you how things are going. That will only be to see how fast you answer. If you answer his email right away, he will know he can take his time getting back with you. Don't answer his email or text messages at all. When he calls, be unavailable.
Let him call a few times and leave messages. Then get dressed so you look desirable and go out to the places your ex hangs out. When you run into him, be cheerful and tell him you are glad you run into him. Say you noticed he has been trying to contact you and thought it might be about the things he left at your place. Then say that you have gotten them all together and one of your friends will drop them off to him.
Tell him you have to go and leave him with a stunned look on his face. By doing this, you have kept your pride, dignity and made him desire you more than ever before. Just keep ignoring him and showing him you can do fine without him. Soon your ex will see that if he wants your love, he will have to come begging and crawling back to you.
